Role and mission of RIC

The main tasks of the Regional Investment Centre's are the simplification of procedures, the proximity and uniqueness of the interlocutors in addition to the development and promotion of Investment in the Region of Taza-Alhoceima-Taounate. The main powers of the Regional Investment Centre are: 

The Wicket of supporting the creation of companies that centralizes all relevant administrations: 

  • The Moroccan Office for industrial and commercial Property
  • The subdivision of Taxation 
  • The Court of First Instance (FI) 
  • The National Social Security Fund  

A single form is made available to the investors within the RIC. They ask for application of business tax registration, claim of registration at the Commercial Register, tax declaration and fiscal identification and membership subscription at the National Fund of Social Security. 

 

Assistance for investment projects 

The Regional Investment Centre welcomes new investors, providing them with all relevant information for investment in the region and handles their requests for licenses and all administrative actions necessary to implement their projects. It is also responsible for reviewing draft agreements to be concluded with the state and resolve disputes between investors in different jurisdictions. 

 

The sustenance and development of existing investments 

The Centre provides ongoing assistance to investors to help them expand their businesses or in case of difficulties and inform them on the national upgrading and different lines of available funding. 

Enhancement of the attractiveness of the Region of Taza-Alhoceima Taounate to investment in sectors with high potential 

As part of its prerogatives, and in consultation with universities and the various actors and operators, the Regional Investment Centre is involved in developing a "strategic vision" for the economic and social development of the Region Taza-Alhoceima-Taounate. 

It is also known to propose concrete actions to improve attractiveness of the Region. Address future maturities of globalization, the Centre is also responsible for conducting a debate on the necessary restructuring, new promising sectors and niches of investment and ensure the dissemination and communication of investment opportunities Region of Taza-Alhoceima-Taounate, nationally and internationally.
